We took our much needed summer vacation. We went to Charleston, SC for 10 days and it was WONDERFUL. We had such a great time. Lucas loved the beach and wasn't afraid of the water at all. He wanted to go out in the water all by himself and would get frustrated if we tried to hold his hand. He is Mr. Independent. He also loved playing in the sand and digging holes with Daddy. We went to the beach every day and Lucas would play full speed and then crash once we got in the car. We took Lucas to the Aquarium downtown and he was in total amazement watching all the fish. He kept making his fishy face and pointing, it was so cute. We spent the last two days hanging out with Kindra, Drew, Kaeden, and Kingston. We went to Sunsplash water park one day which was loads of fun. Lucas really liked the water slides and the little squirting toys and water falls. He had so much fun walking around in the pools all by himself (they were only 1 ft 7 in deep). The last day we hung out with them on the beach and they boys had a blast playing together. Reda and I got to have a night out and went to dinner at the Mustard Seed. All I can say is YUMMO! It was so so good and it was nice to have a quite dinner together.
